The story of Sharadha Sanjay from Maharshtra, is very inspiring. When Save A Family Plan reached at her door steps a few years ago, Sharadha along with her parents and children were struck by her husbands unexpected death. They were living in a small mud house without proper sanitation and drinking water facilities.
With the assistance of Save A Family Plan’s Family development Program, she started rearing goats and earning a decent income. Along with the support of Save A Family Plan, our field staffs helped Sharadha to receive government assistance which she used to build a decent house and sanitation facilities. “Access to drinking is no longer a dream for my family because of Save A Family Plan’s help” says Saradha.
Save A Family Plan’s intervention was an opening for her to take a single step to start a journey of a thousand miles. Today she is happy and feels self-confident in taking up any challenging tasks.
